This Privacy Policy is provided in English, which is the authoritative language for this document.
MLB Strike Simulator 2027 is a free, fan-made, private playtest game published by Fans for Baseball. This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we collect to operate the game, manage private access, verify email codes, maintain leaderboards and community features, improve gameplay, prevent abuse, and communicate with players who request updates.
You may access the game through a shared private password or a 6-digit code sent to your email address.
If you provide an email address, we may store and use it to verify access, send game-related updates, send your player records or results if you request them, manage the private playtest community, respond to support requests, and maintain security. We do not require a traditional public profile, but private playtest access may use email verification.
When you accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, we may record:
We keep these records to document consent, manage access, and protect the project.
We collect gameplay information such as your in-game choices, leaderboard and Hall of Commissioners entries, community choice results, Commissioner names, opening statements, AI-generated replies, score data, game progress, and related gameplay records.
Some content you submit, or that the game generates for you, may appear publicly or semi-publicly inside the game — for example on leaderboards, in community highlights, or on shareable result cards. Please keep that in mind when choosing names and writing in-game text.
Some features may use third-party artificial intelligence tools to generate fictional gameplay text, such as opening statements or social-media-style replies. To generate these responses, your in-game inputs may be sent to AI service providers.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information (such as financial details, government identifiers, health information, or passwords) into AI-generated or free-text fields.
If we send you email — including verification codes, access notices, or game updates — your email address may be processed by one or more third-party email delivery or newsletter providers for the purpose of sending those private playtest communications.
Where applicable, you can unsubscribe from update or newsletter emails. We may still send you limited access, security, or support emails when needed to operate your access to the game.
To protect the game and its players, we may collect your IP address, browser and device information, access attempts, referrer and campaign information, and rate-limit data. We use this information to prevent spam, abuse, unauthorized access, and technical attacks.
We use a small number of third-party service providers to operate the game. These fall into general categories such as:
These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
We keep data only as long as reasonably needed for the game, the private playtest, security, analytics, legal compliance, and project records. Access logs and consent logs may be retained longer for security and legal purposes.
You may request deletion of your data by emailing [email protected].
The game is not intended for children under 13. Users under 13 should not use the game or submit personal information. Users aged 13 to 17 should use the game only with permission from a parent or guardian.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. The project is free, with no ads and no paywalls.
We may update this Privacy Policy over time as the game evolves. If we make material changes, we may notify users by email, website notice, or an updated effective date. Your continued use of the game after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
Questions, concerns, or data-deletion requests may be sent to: [email protected]
